![]() P.S: Once DUCCS works I would try 1.6.6 since it has a lot of improvements over 1.5.x: better grayscale and a custom white point /gamma for native gamut without typing edid coordinates manually. Just remember to DO NOT install ArgyllCMS USB driver, it is meant for i1Pro2 spectrophotometers, Spyder colorimeters and other non HID devices.Īnother alternative is to right click, update driver, choose manually from drivers in disk and choose the non argyll driver. You can skip Displa圜AL "no argyll usb driver" testing and go for DUCCS onace Windows detects it as HID device, but Displa圜AL is almost the only way to test that DUCCS calibration (once you had it working) is OK or Not OK so I'll keep it. It has a lens sitting in front of the sensor (like X-Rite’s multi-thousand dollar Hubble system) and a moveable arm that holds the ambient diffuser. The i1Display Pro instrument is faster and with better quality than the i1Display 2 or any other colorimeter in the same price range. Try Displa圜AL to test that WITHOUT installing any driver it is recognized as HID device. The i1Display Pro comes with X-Rite’s new i1Profiler software. After that make sure it is not listed as an USB drvice with argyll driver (it should not show that screenshot). Windows will recognize it as a HID device (like a mouse). Since it is attached as an ArgyllCMS USB device and not as HID, DUCCS cannot see it. You need no driver for it and it's explained in Displa圜AL/ArgyllCMS that you need nothing (user error). It is not needed for i1d3 colorimeters since it's a HID device.
